Okay I just remembered a movie funnier than the ones you have all mentioned. Full Metal Jacket.

Something which I think you are all missing here is that the funniest movies are dramas. Comedies are generally stupid with a lot of forced humor that isn't really funny.

GREAT call, Jett. I forgot all about it. Used to be one of my favorites. May be Albert Brooks' best ("Lost in America" is usually cited as that, but I think this is better).

I know I haven't seen 'The Blues Brothers' listed, and I believe it should be. 'The Odd Couple' as well.

Sorry to re-hash this thread............... but another person that has seen this movie. OMG I can not believe it.

There are so many quotable lines from that movie it is astounding. I really wish more people would have seen it.

The scene with the frogs and carrot alone is enough to make you cry from laughter.
