Re: Top 10 comedy flicks
Okay I just remembered a movie funnier than the ones you have all mentioned. Full Metal Jacket.
Something which I think you are all missing here is that the funniest movies are dramas. Comedies are generally stupid with a lot of forced humor that isn't really funny. |

"Defending Your Life"
GREAT call, Jett. I forgot all about it. Used to be one of my favorites. May be Albert Brooks' best ("Lost in America" is usually cited as that, but I think this is better). |

Re: Top 10 comedy flicks
I know I haven't seen 'The Blues Brothers' listed, and I believe it should be. 'The Odd Couple' as well.

[ QUOTE ] 5) Whoopee Boys- I think 99.9% never saw it. [/ QUOTE ] I guess I'm one of the .1 percent. Very funny movie! the one guys name was "Humping the Butler" "Hello, I'm Humping the Butler" other guy says "Who's [censored]' the maid" [/ QUOTE ] Sorry to re-hash this thread............... but another person that has seen this movie. OMG I can not believe it. There are so many quotable lines from that movie it is astounding. I really wish more people would have seen it. The scene with the frogs and carrot alone is enough to make you cry from laughter. |
