Least expensive laptop for multitabling?
I could have swore I posted this question (and got a great response about upgrading the screen) within the last two months, but I can't find it in a search of past messages. What is the least expensive laptop I can buy that will allow me to 4 table? What is the cost?

dell inspiron 6000 [/ QUOTE ]This is the truth. I have one with the 1680x1050 screen. You can 4-table on party, but the chat boxes overlap (none of the actual table or play area though). So I love it. |

Re: Least expensive laptop for multitabling?
I got a dell inspiron 6000 with WUXGA for $800 and change which does the trick. if you are really diligent with the online coupon searching, you can probably do even better than that.

Re: Least expensive laptop for multitabling?
Probably would be the Dell 6000 with the WUXGA screen... around $11-1200 so equipped, but with only a 15.4" screen, the writing would probably be mighty tiny.

Re: Least expensive laptop for multitabling?
There are several different Dell Inspiron's you can configure for around $1000 which will include the UXGA screen needed for 4 tabling without overlap. In my opinion the best option is to get a Inspiron 9300, use the 500 off of $1499 laptop, and use the $50 off laptop coupon from the Dell xmas game. The reason I feel this laptop is better than the Inspiron 6000's in because you get a better video card, a larger screen (17"), a P4m processor and a bigger hard drive than you would with a comparable priced 6000. My total came to $1062 shipped. You could even get it a little cheaper if you didn't get the ram uprade and the bluetooth card like I did.
If you want even cheaper and you don't mind used, do a search on Ebay under the laptop section for "UXGA". |
