Default Bringing Cash to Vegas

I am travelling to Vegas this weekend, and this will be the first time that I am bringing a large sum of money to play with (large to me, at least... $5K+). What's the best way for me to do this (assuming the best way is NOT to lug a wad of cash in my suitcase)? Traveller's checks? Set up a line of credit someplace in advance?

Odd (possibly dumb) question, but something I've never addressed before.

Thanks in advance.

DON'T PUT MONEY IN YOUR SUITCASE!

Get a rubber band, fold the money over, wrap the rubber band around it, and put the measly 5k in your front pocket.

If you do not like to put money to your pocket, you can buy a money belt. You can find them in many stores. But 5k$ in not that great sum of cash in Vegas.

$5000 in hundreds doesn't take up too much space. I'd just take that amount with you to Vegas...you can put some in your hotel safe or whatever when you get there if you want. If you're really uncomfortable with it, call the casino and speak to the cage. They will tell you how to wire them money so you can play off that. Or, visit a branch of your bank in Vegas and withdraw the money there.

Edit: This question needs to go in the FAQ if it's not there already.

Very creative ways to say "5K ain't alot of money, [censored]. Put it in your pocket."

I appreciate the advice.
