It's not "knowing" just because you're aware that some underage people gamble. They didn't "know" that the person in question was underage at the time they allowed him to compete.

They are allowing many players to patronize their site without scrutinizing their age. If they were an online liquor store selling alchohol to this many minors they'd probably be in jail for life.

Anyhow, its bad PR for the site to renig on the value of the prize and offend this segment of their customers, and they certainly can't let him go on the cruise.

Besides 10K is probably alot less than his yearly vigs on the site. It's simple business.
