JTs 3-way...should I have tried to "take" this pot?

SB is reasonable preflop, weak postflop...I was able to get him to fold on the river by checkraising him with a busted draw, a decent size pot. He seemed to "think" about it, but it coulda been a bad connection.

Button is a Fish.

I felt like I coulda put pressure on the SB by raising again on the turn, possibly getting him to fold. Is this a chip spew or should I have gone for it? Is this something that players continuously do(laying down the best hand) or am I thinking too much about this?

You played it right. Villian's donk bet on the turn indicates a hand that's beating you and you're seldom folding him out with a raise. And getting 3-bet here when you can't fold really sucks.
