Default A5os with paired board (6max)

Doing a hand review session and I don't want to give bad advice here (plus I'd like to know the correct play). SB is LAGy after 20 or so hands and button is LP after over 50 hands.

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. MP posts a blind of $1.
1 fold, MP (poster) checks, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (4 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)</font>
SB checks, Hero ?

Yeah. I can't see any benefit to betting here unless our opponents are weak tight. If they are, why the hell are they playing 6-max?

The only thing that I was thinking is that you have one poster and the SB already checked to you. With this ragged of a board it could've easily missed everyone and you could actually be ahead. With the backdoor flush draw you could have as many as 7.5 outs if you're behind as the 5 could be an out for you as long as no one has an 8. In a 5 handed game there's a very good chance no one has an 8. (In a 10 handed game I think it's something like 40% that no one was dealt one so it's that much lower here. Any stat guy care to show me how to do this calculation?)

I was just thinking it may be worth a bet here because
1. You may be ahead
2. You have a chance of winning right here as SB has already checked and you have the poster who was "involuntarily" in the pot and it probably missed button.
3. You've got outs if you're behind.
