Default 3/6 v. 5/10 6-m

do these play very differently? I'm more or less ready to take shots and have many things to work on but am considering it.

i understand the jump from 5/10 to 10/20 is similar to the jump in limits as $30 SNGs to $50s. Is it similar or more difficult than the said jump?

From my experience 3/6 and 5/10 play nearly the same. 5/10 has more LAGs though.

From what I hear the move from 5/10 to 10/20 is a biggie.

In general, each individual is different. Some will move up and have a terribly hard time from one level to the next. Others won't have a problem at all. The move from 3/6 to 5/10 is probably a very small jump, you will just have to deal with a few more better players but you still have the same amount of bad players. If your physical bankroll and psychological bankroll are good to go for 5/10, take a shot only you will know if you're ready for the game. There's nothing wrong with taking a shot and dropping back down if you are not ready. Coming from someone who ran 40k breakeven hands at 5/10, the game is not hard at all .

The difference is not that big. The 5/10 tables are even more loose from time to time.

No difference, just more aggressive at 5/10... and in my experiance, looser too.

Lots of multiway pots with players who love to CC with A3o.

I tend to agree with a lot of this, i just took my first shot at 5/10 (granted I only have about 1000 hands and ive been running hot), in general the TAGs are a little better but the bad players seem to actually be worse than at 3/6. It'll take sometime to adjust but you should be able to figure it out, oh and in the beginning it helps to run good.

be really anal about table selection while you adjust and it'll be easier.
