Default Traits you want out of your president, congress member, and judge

It's the subject of the paper I am turning in tomorrow, but I find it to be a good discussion.

What's the most important character trait you want in a president?
A congress member?
A judge?

List an example of each to further promote your argument (ie reagan for president, bader ginsburg for judge, etcetc and so on).

The ability to maintain focus on important things no matter what else is going on.

Oh, yeah, the ability to select and recruit top-notch people to important jobs, too.

The self-assurance to do whatever it takes to maintain power , regardless of silly obstacles like "laws".

A judge?

The chutzpa to pretend that he is objectively interpreting the law while actually engaging in results-oriented jurisprudence.
