Traits you want out of your president, congress member, and judge
It's the subject of the paper I am turning in tomorrow, but I find it to be a good discussion.
What's the most important character trait you want in a president? A congress member? A judge? List an example of each to further promote your argument (ie reagan for president, bader ginsburg for judge, etcetc and so on). |

[ QUOTE ]
What's the most important character trait you want in a president? [/ QUOTE ] The ability to maintain focus on important things no matter what else is going on. Oh, yeah, the ability to select and recruit top-notch people to important jobs, too. [ QUOTE ] A congress member? [/ QUOTE ] The self-assurance to do whatever it takes to maintain power , regardless of silly obstacles like "laws". [ QUOTE ] A judge? [/ QUOTE ] The chutzpa to pretend that he is objectively interpreting the law while actually engaging in results-oriented jurisprudence. |
