That just looked terrible. At least he's conscious (they're taking him off the field now.)

Don't think I've ever seen a pitcher get hit that badly.

NESN Pre-Game: Clement released from hospital ... returning with the team on the charter tonight.

2nd CAT scan this morning negative.

If hes flying, it has to ok...right? I donty know much about head issues, but going on a plane would be a risk if something was wrong....no?

He could hit the DL and only cost the team one start really. the schedule is the sox in favor if he hits the DL.

Yeah I think if they are letting him fly he is doing good, the question will be when he returns how timid will he be (a-la Sosa), I mean you just have to get out there and play but I can't imagine it will be easy.

I know I would be alittle hesitant after taking that shot off the dome.

Yeah, it is likely not that serious. He was able to open his eyes and knew where he was, so that's good.

My guess is that he misses 2 starts, max. Carl Pavano got hit by a line drive earlier this year, and didn't even miss one.

I don't think he did. The ball didn't hit him straight on either. He turned his head and the side of his head absorbed most of the blow.
