Default Rolling Blackjack Bonuses

This is really a rather simple maths problem.

We hopefully understand that clearing a one off blackjack bonus is best done by betting amounts much much larger than minimum bet. Not only does the hourly rate increase, but also the overall expectation from the endeavor.

However what about the monthly bonuses where the wager requirement rolls over if you bust out? In this case increased chance of busting out has an effect on future bonuses, and the monthly oportunities are no longer independent events.

Granted you should really play a +ev game like VP, and blow the whole bonus in a single spin, but I thought the above provided an interesting mathematical diversion.

If WR rolls over your EV is independent of your bet size (assuming your bet size is not so ridiculously large as to increase HA).

Why would increasing the bet amount increase your EV?

This is explained in more detail in the archives...

EV = Bonus - (House Advantage) * (Average Amount Wagered)

As your bet size goes up, your average amount wagered goes down because you bust more frequently before completing the wagering requirement. It's not very intuitive. It helps to run through some simulations to see it for yourself.
