Default The Unit

how ABOUT the better half of the 2001 World Series MVP? very good game today, albeit against the 3rd worst offense in baseball, but nevertheless, looked EXTREMELY sharp. i don't think that back of his is bothering him that much.

Minnesota is not the 3rd worst offense in baseball. The Twins are 15th in OBP and 21st in runs scored. A two-hit 8 inning performance is fantastic against any team.

BPro has Minnesota as the 6th worst offense in baseball.

Well I'll take BPro's word for it, because I don't have a subscription.

1) Third worst is not sixth worst.

2) A two hit 8 inning performance(and he easily could have gone 9 innings for the CG shutout, but Torre is stupid) is good against any team. There is much greater parity in baseball than in other sports, and it really shouldn't matter if he did this against Minnesota or if he did it against the Red Sox.
