Yes! Won a seat in a Super Weekday! :)
I know , I know, nothing major, but still, I'm very happy. Just started working on my tourney game and frequenting the MTT boards, and so far I'm very proud of my play. I haven't won much, but I've made the money and gone far in the few tourneys I have played. Today I entered a 9+1 qualifier, made it to top 7 and won a seat.
I won't give any thanks to anyone yet, I'll reserve that for when I actually accomplish something noteworthy. But if you guys have any specific advice relating to these Supers, I'd appreciate it very much. (Which one to play? How is the competiion? Etc.)

great job..make sure you dont make a big mistake and join the wrong one (i was planning on doing no limit and a day that i'm free, and ended up doing limit)

Nothing quite like "taking a shot at a 109 NL tourney" only to have it be stud....ugh

A lot of donkish play in the first hour.
Start stealing blinds in the latter half of the second hour. Play really tightens-up near the bubble and there's usually a lot of stalling. Hammer the players holding out for the $$$. After the bubble breaks, the shorties will go crazy trying to get lucky or go to bed. Their ranges will be pretty wide. Play tightens-ups a little again about half way into the money.

[/ QUOTE ] Deposited $100 into Party Poker...Immediately signed up for a $30+3 MTT and placed 2nd for $2200. I was already imagining my new car and fast lifestyle....As you can see from my location, MTTs = variance.

Listen to thrill, this is a perfect description of how the tourny is played from my experience. Now if I could only convince myself not to bluff away my stack in the first 2 levels.
