If someone signed up through an affiliate would they get these same offers or is it for non affiliate sign ups?

What about us SNG players? Seems like only ring game players are getting phone calls/offers.

[/ QUOTE ]
I opened up a new account with an affiliate less than a month ago to play SNGs and have been called by VIP offering $100 for every 70 $215s that I play.

70 * $15rake = 1050

so you're getting 10% from party + rakeback.. nice!

i guess i should update my phone # with them

Stupid question, but do you really get both, Vip $ and rakeback?

I was offered $100 for 5k raked hands.. I'm gonna let it ride and see how I'm doing next month. I play 5/10 full.

I got the same offer as well...although I think it might have been $100 for 4400 raked hands. I thought I was the only one getting such a low offer...guess not. Although on the other hand, it's not THAT bad given how I started playing "again" on party only in the second week of october and I only played less than 2500 raked hands that month. And I play 2/4.

VIP bonuses are subtracted from MGR (I think) so in reality its only adding on about 6% to my current rakeback.

I'm a strictly SnG player.

I emailed vip@partypoker.com a few days ago, politely requesting membership, and they called me today.

It boiled down to 10% rakeback, and if I meet my target of $1000 in rake paid for November, they will re-evaluate (whatever that means) for December.

Tournaments already played in November count towards the target and the final rakeback payment.

Other benefits:
- Freerolls specifically for VIPs (Details to follow)
- Redeem Party points for cash (Details to follow)
- Invitations to land-based events (Details to follow)
- Special support from vip@partypoker.com and a special phone number (yet to be set up)

So, it's something, I guess.

I didn't feel like negotiating since I was at work sitting right next to my boss... but I'm definitely asking for more in December. I plan to stress that I strictly observe their terms and conditions prohibiting affiliate rakeback deals.

Just for everyone's information...

Ok, I have a question. Lets say I have a affiliate from a long time ago who's getting 20%-25% rakeback off me (25% if I hit 10k MGR), If I accept one of these VIP deals, will it be taken out from that 20-25% rakeback, or is this vip deal a seperate bonus on top of that?

Just recieved my offer, 15000 raked hands for $200, didnt have time to negotiate, he also said this was my trial month. I hadn't played at party since well before the split and told the guy I was waiting for the dust to settled before I returned. He told me he noticed I played most of my hands at .1/.25 25NL and I told him yes, but I have moved majority of my play to .5/1 100NL and he said I needed to play at least 1/2 200NL in order to get the benefits of the VIP.

He then said I will give you $100 on your next deposit and we will revist this in a month and that was that.

Any other NL players get lowball offers like that and told they have to play at least 1/2?
