Yes, you should send as many friends as you have over there to ask for a rug in the same color. It helps if they can pretend to be rich. Then go in there and tell the guy he's a total douche.

The other thing you could do is go in and pretend to be interested in a really expensive rug for your whole 10-room house, get him really worked up about comission, etc. Have your girl call you on your cell and tell her where you are, come on down. Or else just have her walk in at an appointed time. Tell her you're looking at getting all this stuff. Then have her say, "No, honey, this is that needledick who told me to go to TJ Maxx instead."

"Oh, okay honey. Can I talk to the owner, needledick?"

Well, if it would make you feel better:

Give her some of your poker winnings, so she can buy herself a decent wardrobe.

Take your keys and scratch the side of a car, make sure the scratch is deep and goes all the way along the car.

And is one of the worst things you can ever do to another person (well, at least to their property).

have you never seen pretty woman?

what you do is you have her go spend like a TON of money on rugs at other stores. the best. have her haul a truck load of rugs to the original store and make a comment about how he made a HUGE mistake. HUGE. then leave without buying any rugs at the original store and enjoy the look of regret on their face.

Anyone else ever type messages out then press back because they realise the message they are about to send is stupid? Well i did exactly this with the above text, then realised i don't want to admit to seeing this film.

... time to press back again.

In what store/city did this happen?

[/ QUOTE ]

It was in Westport, CT. I don't know the name of the store.

Now this makes sense. You have to dress up if you want to be treated decently at upscale shops.

p.s. I'm not justifing the rude behavior by the idiot salesperson, but this happens alot.

She was dressed up, as it was right after work.

I guess her mistake was not carrying her purse on her forearm or wearing a fur coat.

1. Have your girlfriend fight her own battles. If she didn't have the grapes to verbally (or physically) bitchslap the guy then and there, that's her problem.

2. I really don't think it's worth going back to confront him/the manager regardless. Take your business elsewhere.
