I do think the point of comics is too be funny, not be political...but I don't take too much offense to this...
Maybe the guy has a lot of ties to the area and he wanted to do some sort of a salute...hopefully it's a one time shot though, and not something that starts as a running theme - that would be something different than the strip is supposed to be in the first place. |

I think I get it. They said they've been to Louisiana but they're characters in a comic strip. Characters in a comic strip aren't real!! They can't go places!! Brilliant.

It's about as funny as any other "Foxtrot" I've read. That strip makes Arlo and Janis look like Groucho and Chico.

I'll jump in with a quick comic strip rant, as well...does Johnny Hart have to make every other B.C. strip about his faith? Great, you're Christian. Christ died for our sins. While very noble, that's just not very funny.
