IS this standard?
You have A4s UTG2,you limp after 1 limper, it's raised and then 3 bet and it's 2 more for you to call giving you 6:1 It is then capped preflop giving you 5:1
Is it correct to fold when it is 2 more back to you or is this an easy call? This hand came up in the SS forum and maybe I need to rethink my play in this situation. If it was 2 more back to me my line would be to fold here. Discuss |

Re: IS this standard?
You probably should consider folding it the first time around from this position.

Re: IS this standard?
It's important how many players are left. Did the UTG limper call? Blinds? Any coldcallers? Limpers before the raiser?
If there are four live hands besides me I call this. If it's just the raiser and reraiser I fold. In between is fuzzy. |

Re: IS this standard?
From EP I wouldn't limp this in the first place, unless it's a really passive game. And if it was a really passive game with this kind of action all of a sudden, I know I'm in big trouble and would fold when it's two back to me.

Re: IS this standard?
I'd fold in the first place and then again to two more bets. Barring a miricle flop the best case senario you'll likely be playing a draw out of position with two people who really like their hands. Given two people are raising limpers your A is unplayable if it pairs and any two pair will be extremely venerable.
