Default (22) I have no idea what to do here

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (10 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

MP1 (t540)
MP2 (t875)
MP3 (t775)
CO (t700)
Button (t653)
SB (t995)
BB (t590)
Hero (t715)
UTG+1 (t1040)
UTG+2 (t1117)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
Hero raises to t100, 1 fold, UTG+2 calls t100, MP1 calls t100, 6 folds.

Flop: (t345) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero all in t 615

What do you think of this play? I really dont like this spot out of position with 2 other players, but what do I do? Check folding here seems too weak tight on rag board, and any continue bet essentially commits me. Thoughts apperciated.

You might limp PF and push a raise to get HU. At the 22s in EP with low blinds and a full table I very often limp AK for this reason. With 2 callers behind and draw heavy board I'm folding this. Call it weak tight, but you still have a stack and are by no means out of this.

i really dont think you need to do this. i think you can CB without committing yourself.

if you CB for 180, hero has 435 chips left behind. now, if MP2 pushes, you are right that you are going to be pot-committed. but to be fair, you arent folding TT with a push here anyway, so the only difference is you are giving yourself a chance to get away from a push from UTG2. if UTG2 pushes, you can safely fold, I think.

Here is an example of a madeup hand range from UTG2 (if he pushes), and the equity we have in the pot:

Board: 4h 6d 8h
Dead:

equity (%) win (%) tie (%)
Hand 1: 27.8563 % 16.31% 11.54% { AdKd }
Hand 2: 72.1437 % 60.60% 11.54% { KK+, TT-77, AKs, AKo }

---

After our bet of 180, an UTG2 push, and an MP2 fold, there is, I think, 960 in the pot, giving us about 2:1 on our call, not good enough to call given our equity. If we eliminate AK from his hand range, obviously our equity goes down fairly significantly.

Anyway, that's how I'd play it. Incidentally, I'd probably bet out 180 here with JJ+ as well.

Hmmmm... I guess someone didn't feel like playing post flop. I might throw a CB here, but most of the time I go into check/fold mode w/AK in level 2, OOP against 2 players w/ a flop that really doesn't help you much.
