Default Kokopellie Chip Group Buy

I am sure most people who post on here also post on chiptalk.net but for those of you who don't I wanted to let you know about a group buy that I am involved in.

Over on Chiptalk.net Lynbark Designs has designed a southwestern kokopellie chip for a group buy. Since so far I am buying the most chips (2500) I want to get the word out to get as many people as I can to get the cost down.

Here is the link for the group buy on chiptalk. The chips are being produced by Ace High Supply. Ace High is a new supplier in the ceramic market. I have some samples of some other chips that they have produced and they are on level if not better than Nevada Jacks chips (personal opinion).

Here is a link to a review that a couple of the people on chiptalk.net have done comparing the Ace High BR PRO to the Nevada Jacks ceramic chips.

All the ordering is being done through Ace High at this location. http://www.acehighsupply.com/kokopelli.php

Just for the record I have no affiliation with Ace High Supply, Lynbark Designs, or Chiptalk.net. I am simply trying to get more people to buy these chips so the price will come down a bit. I know other people have been disappointed when they missed a group buy simply because they were unaware it was going on. The chips will only be this price through Dec. 5th.

Thanks
Spicy

Cool chip, nice price. If there were gray quarters and white $1 chips, I'd be in.

Interesting news on the Kokopelli group buy at http://chiptalk.net/forum/showthread.php?t=12217

Originally the price was set at .72 per chip up to 5000 with reductions to .68 between 5000 and 10000 and .62 above 10000. Ace High Supply, which is producing these chips, just lower the cost on these chips. The initial cost up to 5000 chips is .67, 5000 to 10000 is .61 and above 10000 is .54 per chip. This is for the total of all the chips ordered through this group buy.

Ace High also read the review that a couple members at chiptalk.net did and saw that the weight and thickness were the two points that they failed on. They have since created a new mold for the chips which is thicker (like the Chipco and Nevada Jacks chips) which is turn has brought the weight of the chip up to a little over 10 grams.

Lynbark Designs, who is the person who is putting this group by on, has also been in contact with some people who are making real clay bounty tiles and dealer buttons.
There is an ongoing thread over at chiptalk about the tiles and dealer buttons.

http://chiptalk.net/forum/showthread.php?t=12466

This is what the tiles look like.

Here is the dealer button that is probably going to be produced.

Just wanted to keep the zoo up to date incase anyone was interested.

I got a sample set of these in today, and they look great!

Nice textured feel, good weight. Very nice chips.

One of the things that is appealing to me about them is that they will not be commercially available after December 12th.
Security wise, and collector wise, this is a big plus.
