Default Cheap LCD\'s

What is the cheapest decent LCD monitor I can get? Does anyone have any good experience or even deals on anything in the 17-19" range?

A little bit of overlap doesn't really bother me and I'm not looking to drop 400+ on one of the monster Dell screens.

Supposebly, CompUSA had a 17" LCD monitor for $180 this week. I bought one from them for $150 during a "Midnight Madness" sale a few months ago.

Mine is made by "Proview", I did not see the manufacturer of the one for sale. I have had absolutely no complaints. I have seen Sony LCDs with an aquarium screen saver that could fool me into thinking that they were real fish...and my monitor would be eating humble pie. But for internet stuff, what I have is just the ticket.

I would suggest spending some more dollars if you intend to watch movies or are into photo editing.

You can get a nice Dell 19" in the $250 range when they are running a good deal.
