Strange AQ suited hand...

Just sat down at the table... never saw any of the players before.

Note... although this hand came up on my 3rd of 4th hand.....Villan seems to be a standard type LAG. Saw about 67% of the flops... raised PF about 32% of the time... was fairly aggressive after the flop and on later streets but none of this was known to me at the time.

Questions... Hero is UTG... was the raise to small? I tend to think people raise in higher increments of the BB on PP than they should...... 6-12 BBs is to high.... I try to vary my PF raises from 3 1/2 BBs to 5 1/2 BBs.

What do you when he CRs the flop? I think a re-raise could be argued here to see where I'm at. The BB raiser could have anything from KQ-KJ... The extra player in the pot didn't make me that happy so I just flat called. In hind sight I think the second player was on some kind of a flush draw... if I would have raised I would have made it around $22 to go... or another $14.

I'm probably overthinking this, and the guy just has a 2, but if this is a thinking opponent, he might be semi-bluffing the flop with a flush draw because your 1/2 pot bet looks pretty weak and the board looks pretty scary. He got called, turn is no help, so he slows down. So do you. Now he thinks you're also drawing. If this is how it went, river is just a busted draw-bluff. Actually, this would be a good example of how to induce a bluff from a busted draw. And in case you don't know: if you induce a bluff, you must always call.

But, as I said, he probably just has a 2 [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
