chances of AA, KK and QQ
I should be able to figure this out, but what are the chances of AA, KK and QQ all being dealt in the same 9 handed table at Hold em (obviously).
This just happened to me while at a final table at Poker Stars. Fortunately I got out with my KK before losing all my chips (only lost half). a Q did come on the flop, but he was allin. But still seems amazing to have all three dealt. Thanks SD |

Re: chances of AA, KK and QQ
I think I figured it out.
I figured the chance of someone having AA at a 9 person table as just under 4%. Then for somebody else to have KK of the remaining 8 of a 50 card deck as 3.85%. Then QQ of the other 7 of a 48 card deck as 3.66%. Multiply those together to get 1 in 17714. So really more likely than I thought. Still sucked though. SD |
