Default Against the manic the one card I did not want to see.

UTG is a maniac pure and simple. He is raising 4 out of 5 hands big like this. I call the pre-flop bet as I want to take him for a big pot. I had re-raised him earlier with AJ pre-flop and he folded. He has been happy to put players in with middle pair or top pair no kicker hands. He has been getting calls with bottom pair and ace high hence his big stack! He has slowed down occasionally but still likes to see the river whenever he can.

UTG ($295.37)

Normally I would. I VERY rarely call pre-flop against a maniac but will do with a high PP if I want to pick up his continuation bet as well. I accept that QQ was probably too dangerous a hand to play this way with.

IIIIIMMMMMM AAAAAWWWWWWLLLLL EEEEEENNNNNN.

well more than 1/3, this bimbo is using the Ace as a scare card.

Reraise preflop anyway, and flop to 40$.

I dont believe this at all. Villian called on the flop, he didn't bet and I think this changes alot. I think he has an Ace(A2, A5), 34, or hearts.

If you reraise this pf you're all in on the flop and have no decision here. It is the atrocious preflop play that put you in this position and I'm sure you know this. No need to get tricky against a maniac or at the $50 in general.

Edit--as for you question "who calls this?". I probably fold but I would never be put in this position in the first place.

fold to the ace.

You should have raised the flop to 40....that's a full pot sized raise.
