Default What happens to your reload bonus if you go broke?

If you get a reload bonus and you don't wager enough to clear the bonus then you lose all the money in the account will the site send you a bill for the bonus you lost?

They don't give you the bonus until after you've cleared it.

Party example: You deposit $500 for a $100 bonus. If you lose $500 before clearing the bonus, you are done. Unless you deposit more to finish clearing the bonus.

As an example, the lastest reload at PokerNow was 30%, up to a bonus of $200. To get the max, you would have to deposit $667. The $200 is shown in your account as an uncleared bonus, and cannot be used, either to bet or to withdraw, until you played the required 7X raked hands. It is kept separate from the $667 available in your account. In this case, the requirement would be 1400 raked hands. The $200 is essentially not really there until and unless you play 1400 hands. If you lose all your own money, or if you do not play 1400 raked hands by the "expiry" date, the $200 goes away.

I think OP is referring to the fact that some sites actually let you play with the bonus, even though you can't withdraw it.

And I'm pretty sure they're not going to bill you for a lost bonus that you didn't earn.

Yes, and to give OP an example, I deposited $90 at Intercasino last night for their monthly bonus and only played with the bonus money which I managed to blow through in about 20 minutes when the damn dealer got showed 39 tens in a row at BJ. I don't owe them any more money next month when I go back and try the same bonus again.

OK. This makes sense, because (i am not home right now so I can't check for sure) I could almost swear the bonus money was deposited to my account. So I can use it to gamble but I can't keep it until I meet the requirements.

On sites, like Party, where you have only a limited time to earn the bonus you may well lose it. On sites, like Stars and Paradise, where there is no expiration time, you can come at any point later with another deposit and continue to collect hands to earn the bonus.

As most players do go broke before they earn their bonus, these bonuses cost Party not as much as it may appear.

pacific give you the money up front, if you empty your account after receiving the bonus (except for the bonus of course) you can blow it and they wont ask for it back.
