why would anyone want to play at paradise? It is THEE toughest site anywhere. Have her go to party $1/$2 after reading a couple books and a couple hours of you being with her in person as she plays.

I worked my way up through Stars $.05/.10 and $.25/.50 - they were both great learning experiences for me. Plus the software's nice.

i think .25/.50 is the bottom level at most websites. You'll probably find some websites with rocks at the .1/.2 level, but if she wants to play well, she should want to learn; i'd suggest .25/.50, buy her pokertracker and advocate reading HEP for beginners then SSHE. Eventually she'll crush her friends at penny-ante poker!

Peter Harris

Is it tougher than Stars? I went for a bonus, cleared the bonus and have been doing ok (6BB/100 - over only 2000 hands. I'm very much a part-timer). I can always find tables with >50% seeing flop. I do intend to move when I am ready for .50/1

I would say 0.5/1 on Party Poker. The majority of people playing there are morons... And as others have said, see to it that she reeds some books as well.

I strongly recommend the .5/1 at party poker. Give her a couple of books such as WLLH and a little experience and there's no reason why she (or anyone) should be a loser in that game. Plus .5/1 is kind of like playing for real money.

I agree that the tightest nanolimits are to be found at pokerstars.

The most lucrative are at Paradise.
