Default 3/6: KJo Checkup

Completely standard right? Moving up so I'm just double checking. No reads.

It seems fine to me.

I'm sort of half-expecting to see 98, and of course there are other hands we lose to. But I would have played this like you did.

Edit: Well, except that sometimes I would 3-bet the flop, like Entity mentioned.

My original intent was to raise his turn bet, fold to a 3-bet, bet safe rivers, check bad rivers.

I tend to 3-bet this flop more often than not.

I think ure toast on the turn vs a 3/6 unkown. I dont think you win here more than the 4-1 you are getting on a call down

I think the flop raise/turn checkraise signifies just as much strength as a turn bet/3bet.

Against a 3/6 unknown I think you're probably right.

Yeah, I would not expect an unknown at 3/6 to do this without a better hand.

Fold the turn against an unknown. He's got a T more than 90% of the time here. I see stupid check-raise/check-raise lines all the time. Next time your opponent checks the turn in this spot, check behind him then call the river. Let him lose a bet and give you a free card.
