Obviously: wheel > engine > all the others (except antibiotics)

Engine's invariable require wheels (either in the engine or the application of), and all electronic type devices need an engine/power generators and therefore wheels.

So it comes down to antibiotics or wheels. And the wheel takes it because what good is antibiotics without a wheel to transport it to a person in need?

Not having any wheels anymore would totally change the world.

God is a terribly misused invention, the people who use the invention have made it an ugly thing.

[/ QUOTE ]

You could say the exact same thing about most inventions. Is the wheel a terrible and ugly thing just because it been instrumental in the destruction of millions of people?

The belief in God has likely stopped a multitude more of evil from occurring than it has been responsible for inspiring. I can't prove that statement but I think most would agree with it.

I thought there was a poll on this with some major scientific publication that said the Printing Press.

in addition to pretty much starting the age of enlightenment, it helped spread the scientific knowledge that made the other discoveries possible.
