Default Whats with these fake \"bad beats\"?

I see this a lot in onlime games and now Im seeing this in the WSOP

I was watching the card player videos and these two hands came up

AK vs 10 10 preflop all in
Flop AKx Turn is a 10 River x
And they are interviewing the guy with AK talking about how bad his luck is
Then there was a hand all in preflop
qq vs AJ
Flop and turn ace x 77
River queen
Again Im told its a terrible beat

Finally Masisow hand today AA vs KK preflop where Mike flops a set but the other guy makes a flush

These are not bad beats. In all 3 cases the money went in preflop and in 2 of the 3 the heavy favorite won and in the other the slight favorite won.

Neverwin was going on about losing w/ AK vs. TT. Belsky was calling it a "horrible" or "horrendous" beat or whatever. They got their money in pf and he was a dog. The fact that he flopped AKx is irrelevant.

yeah well, that belsky guy is a retard. i have a hunch everything he knows about poker is from his weekly joke of a homegame and various cardplayer articles that he read.

on one of the day 1s i remember an interview he did with a guy who was on ivey's table. when the guy was walking off, belsky said something back like "well hopefully phil won't be on your right!"

call me crazy, but i want phil on my right.

Cardplayer should really get a better interviewer. What's up with Bellski and his gigantic close up smile with his head tilted backwards after every video? God he annoys me.

Hahaha, that'd be awesome. You'd have to chase down players on their way to the bathroom and say things to jinx them at every opportunity. You'll also have to go out of your way to tell any woman you see how beautiful she is and have her look at you like you're some sort of monster.

No, it's not. It's not a bad beat, but you have to be sympathetic to the fact that if someone is in the ME and with AK vs 10's, and the flop comes AKx, you're going to be feeling pretty damn good. And to have that taken away and get knocked out is pretty vicious. Sure, calling it a beat is a stretch, but the point that it sucks a good bit remains.
