Places like Flamingo, Bally's, Imperial Palace, etc, are all reasonable and in much better location.

Jeff - My experience at IP was a very poor one. Their isn't stair access to rooms, and elevator wait was generally about 15-20 minutes on average. Trust me, it's no exaggeration. We got a crazy deal of $500 including airfare for 4 nights, but I wouldn't recommend staying there.

Any real reason for dissing the Golden Nugget thing? If you have valid complaints I'd be interested to hear them.

No complaints except it's off the strip. Check out the Boardwalk for a cheap spot right in the middle of everything.

Yea, I mean, IP is a dump. But it's in a great location. To me, I'd rather be on the strip there than at Nugget (which is a much nicer hotel). But I'm there for close proximity to the action at Bellagio, Mirage, Wynn, so that's me. I've only stayed at IP once.

IMO, Flamingo and Bally's are both good to stay at and reasonable.

Jeff
