Default Step 5 Gigabet question.....really this much money?

In this post I guess he is claiming to be making $100k a month. Is that possible? I'm not saying he is bullshiting, I just have no idea. I guess if you multitable 5 tables at a time at $1,000 a piece its possible.

As good as he is, why would you doubt it?

Reread the post in context.

Someone implied that he sucks and just plays with his daddy's money. He says that daddy has to give him $100K now that the bigger buyins have come out, i.e. he's losing $100K a month.

Of course, we all believe he is making big bucks, but he is not making that claim in this post. While he is obviously being sarcastic, he is FAR from quoting a specific level of profit.

Later,
Che

Yeah, I agree that's what it sounds like he's saying.

It would be interesting to know what a very good player like himself or spirit rock made on average per money.

Anerican players are not going to say how much they make publicly, because they don't want to get in trouble with taxes. Besides, why brag about something that can't be verified.

Seriously though, did you hear about the guy in Vegas who made a million dollars chasing flushes? Yeah, but then he lost two million chasing straights.

I dont know if you guys are aware of Dared.. he was/is a high stakes cash game player on the Euro sites.. specifically ladbrokes.

He stated in an interview that over the course of a year (2004 i think) he made $2k a day.

That is from 25/50 .. 50/100 cash games.

I have no idea how this would compare to people like Spirit, but as a rule Dared was considered the best on-line cash player in Europe for a long time, usurping Erik123.
