How long can you use it without recharging? I'm not really a big fan of those wireless optical mouses. They are pretty heavy and you can't use them for those really long sessions

I've definitely broken an optical mouse. I slammed my fist down on it hard enough that the plastic on top broke, and it won't go back into place.

My wireless optical mouse lasts over 12 hours? Any more play then that seems excessive for one sitting anyway. Also I like the heavier mice better Who knows why.

Back in my quake days I used to average a mouse a month.... I had a habit of slamming my mouse down in a trajectory that followed the path of my head as it was blown clean off.

Keep something near by to throw, cheap clay poker chips are nice, cheap and they break. Makes you feel better Haven't needed them in two weeks luckily.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes!!! I haven't broken any chips yet, but I have flung them. They also make a nice slam against the table when accompanied with a creative expletive. They're great to practice your chip shuffle so you have something to do instead of making stupid calls, too.

I can recommend the Logitech cordless trackball.

BTW: The trackball was invented before the mouse.
