Default Feeling Inspired..

Been a little depressed the past coupla days, then i went running and everything changed.. Usually I get wild ideas that I never follow through with when i go running..

Anyway, my idea is a stud forum book.

The idea is that we cover ideas that come up a lot here, and discuss hands that we've all found are interesting. The other idea is that different people could handle different sections to expedite the process..

For example, Jeff could maybe cover high limits, Andy could discuss drinking while playing.. etc..

Anyway, we don't have to discuss all of the problems that there would be with this, just whether or not you like the idea. I've heard andy might be working on something, and that is an obvious issue.. Another issue is whether 2+2 minds us even bringing the idea up on here.

Otherwise, lemme know what you think! Roland already said he likes the idea.

And yes, of course we will allow Mike "The Donator" Emery have a chapter on classic suckouts.

I had previously thought there was a great magazine article in the making, about the human interest side of on line poker and this forum in particular.

The average joe thinks about poker players as a drunken bunch of degenerates. I think you could have a really cool chapter that digs into the cast of characters here a little, that would show the opposite is true here. The real people behind the screen names so to speak. I know we have grad degree mathematicians, math profs, lawyers, engineers, comp scientists, executives, ex internet tycoons, etc. I think it could make for a fascinating piece.

Nice idea Beer - you never know though, I could write my own book someday and not have to work for the man anymore.

I think one thing about writing about a topic, is that it would make you understand that topic A LOT better at that concentration. If you have to write about a topic, put that idea into words, and be confident enough to publish it, a person learns a lot in that process.

Is this a half baked idea, or a good one? I do not smoke pot.

No, you are right. I think that's why posting helps me alot. And, that being said, I have dabbled with stuff like this and writing a book seems EXTREMELY tough.
