This seems OK to me. The river call looks very close and I may or may not make it while at the table.

Depending on the player, raising the turn with the plan to check the river and fold to any other bet is a good plan. There are very few hands that would bet at you again after a turn raise on this board. If he does 3 bet you or donk you on the river, you can fold pretty comfortably. At any rate, a turn raise is superior to calling down.

I assume you had a read on this guy that made you believe him. With a read and the river ace, I think the fold is ok.

Until your river fold. I think you are ahead enough here to make the call. Plus, I think it's pretty important to see how villian plays HU and by folding you would be allowing him to keep his secrets.

Hmm, I don't know that the ace changed things enough for me not calling down... You know he's probly betting every river card...

Put him on a hand. You think an unknown is pure bluffing a flop 3 bet, followed by a turn and river bet often enough to make a call correct? What is his range? I just don't see it, but I posted because I'm not 100% sure either.

Raise the turn. You'd be surprised how often you have him reverse dominated.
