Correct to me, this hand looks fine to this noob. Why not give a full pot bet on the flop to give bad odds to the possible flush draw?
Is that just a bit of minutiae that doesn't need to be entertained?

Yes you didn't page us too play at this table lol!

Can you tell me what the numbers mean?

I would have called the river bet if you fold here he will do a repeat, he either has or is representing a flush or set of 9's, or heck maybe p a's.

Also, you have a weak hand, which means small pot another option is to check around or call bets.

Or maybe not even play the hand, but I think a cheap flop is ok here.

This is why I fold A8o preflop. It will help you avoid creating tough situations for yourself such as these.

fold preflop, check the turn, river call is 50/50. i'd say his range includes Ax better kicker, flush draw, oesd. trips/boat is unlikely given action on the turn and i find it difficult to believe a rock is playing 2nd pair the whole way looking for 5 outs to improve versus 2 opponents on a board with an ace.
