Default preflop question ( party 5/10 )

is this a decent pre flop call or is it better to fold? i've been trying to play more hands but i'm unsure if this is a good spot.

Adam,

Not against a UTG raise. Domination issues, along with bad post flop position.

The loosening up process is hard. Somethings just kind of click.

If you are working on loosening up, work on lowering your blind steal requirements. Also adding a few more hands to your BB steal defense.

Outside of those situations, adding hands from the CO and the button is a good way to start.

If you want give me a PM. I went through this stage earlier this year. Also I have a decent handle on how you used to play back on the PokerRoom site.

Not alot of hands, but for some reason I actually paid attention to your play.

I am going to cop out and say "read dependent".. because at that point it kind of is.

Which leads to another tangent on loosening up... which is against certain sets of players, you can "loosen" different types of hands.
