I was looking at that one too, $1k bonus not to be sniffed at, but the clearence rate seems slow

15 points needed, you get one point for a hand raked $1 or more, half a point for ha hand raked over 0.50 but less than $1

probably works out a bit better than rakeback for a 2/4 player, but lower than that it's going to be very slow going IMHO

You are looking at approx. 30000 hands at 2/4 in order to clear this bonus.

I'm considering it myself as they release the bonus in $50 increments. Not to mention you are on the same network as PokerRoom so there will always be a decent selection of games.

I can't get to hollywood pokers site here from work but isn't it 1 point for every $1 in rake? So if a pot is raked $3 it's equivalent to 3 points? I believe this is how it's done on pokerroom.

PokerRoom is a 7X Bonus. You collect either .5 or 1 point for every raked pot - after you accumulate 700 points the bonus is released. You cannot collect more than 1 point per hand regardless of the amount of rake. If the pot is raked less than $1 you only collect half a point.

The Hollywood Poker $1000 Bonus is a 15X bonus with the same clearing requirements as above. However the bonus is released in $50 increments. So you receive $50 for every 750 accumulated points (approx. 1500 hands)

I'm playing it right now. Hollywood is reputable, not a scam.

I would say 30000 is a bit of a stretch, probably closer to 17K, and 20K. At 2/4 the bulk of hands are raked at $1.00, so you get a full point.

I wouldn't do it if they didn't release in increments though.

You either get .50 points or 1 point max.
