Default Random Signs of stupidity

Saying somebody's rather simple name incorrectly.

What do people do to make you think "WOW, they are DUMB".

They say things like "The matrix is a profound movie" or "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is stupid."

The first one was. Fear and Loathing wasn't stupid.

I read the book btw, and loved it like crazy, years ago. When I saw the movie the first time I liked some of it but was fairly indifferent to lots of it. The second viewing really made me like it a whole lot more, though. I think it's one of those movies that can get a lot better on subsequent viewings. I don't blame anyone for not liking it all that much the first time around.

My last name is not particularly out there, but I'm amazed at the field day people have with it. It comes back pronounced, and misspelled, at me so many bizarre different ways I have to wonder at people's commands of their ears, eyes, and brains.
