Default who has the best hand?

I would like to know if somebody can help me figure out how to calculate the probability of me having the best hand at the river. If I'm tyring to figure out if I am even money or not, I need to know the probability of me having the best hand. I cant seem to figure it out. If someone would take the time to give me any explanation, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanx

Whether or not you have the best hand at the river is almost impossible to get % wise by a math formula, however you can guestimate pretty well.

1. How close is your hand to the nuts? In hold em you can plainly see what the nuts are ont he board and how close your hand is to it.

2. Your opponetns play should tell you what they have. If you have KK and the flop comes AKQ and people check to you all the way to showdown it's highly unlikey they have AA/KK, even though your hand is far from the nuts.

You may however mean in terms of "calling a bet". Well you just have to look att he pot odds

If the pot is offereni gyou 10:1

Say the pot has $9 and your single opponent bets $1 (pot now $10) all you have to do is have the best hand 10% of the time to break even on your call. So you say to yourself "Do I really think I have the best hand 10% or better here?" if yes then call.
