10/20 pacific

ATo on the button

2 limpers, I raise, both blinds call, limpers call

flop comes Q56r

SB leads, BB and 2 limpers call, I call

I'm getting like 14:1 here. What are the lowest odds you will go to call this bet? The board was fairly safe...is this an auto fold for all of you?

I mostly fold this. If the bettor is passive enough I will raise and try for a free card with a pot of that size. If he plays back at me again I'm gone UI.

Fold, reverse domination sux. I give us 2 outs tops so I guess I'd want at least 22-1 to call, I'm not gonna count implied odds since 1 overcard, especially an ace, usually doesn't have much.

What party limit do you think the pacific 10/20 is equivalent to?

I make this call a little bit too often, too.

I think it's correct to fold, unless we have some good reason to believe that we might actually be ahead right now. With this many people in, I'd doubt it.

And also, it's likely that none of our outs are good anyways [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

Whats your reasoning for raising preflop? I could see if there's only one limper and you want to isolate but it seems like with two people limping you should just call. I would also fold on the flop. I dont like drawing here with one overcard when SB could have something like A5s or A6s that has you reverse dominated. Also a lot of people just call in the SB with AQ when someone raises so that is a possibility as well. I would say you have about 1.5-2 outs total adding in your backdoor braodway draw, easy fold.

The first thing I would do is to look at exactly what you have with the flop:

A,Q,T,6,5 with only backdoor draws

Do you honestly think that this is a winning holding against 4 opponents?

I don't.

I fold.

(of course, because I have the same problem as you, too often I don't fold.....DAMN YOU HINDSIGHT!!!! DAMN YOU!!!)

I think I can give myself 1 out for the backdoor draw and 1.5 outs for the overcard, giving me 2.5 outs. I need about 18:1 to call this in the future.

Is this type of play doable at lower limits like 2/4 or 3/6? Seems like this scenario would happen there way too often where the blinds come along and now theres 5+ people to the flop and one of them donk bets.
