Possible move for BlackJack.. need help please.

What is the average EV of a double down? I have figured out a move that takes the house rules and uses it against them. The move will allow the player to do nothing illegal and possible double if not quadruple their original bet. I am looking for a PM from a reliable source. I am not a blackjack guru by any means but I do have knowledge of the game. 6 deck game house stands on any 17 double after splits. except aces(one card each)

All double down situations are +EV, that's why you double down. Not the same with splitting. I can't really tell what the question is here -- what's the "move"?

Well, a double down is the doubling of your original bet, nothing "possible" about it.

And if you are talking about the old "quadruple down" move, it is cheating and you will get caught immediately by anyone but the most inexperienced dealer.

I get the feeling it's very primitive, not slick at all.

You don't mean put another bet out to split, then bump into it twice when you double, do you? That's a move?

Face up game works best. Sit at 3rd base. If you are dealt a good double down hand, while the dealer is looking at first base and working those hands, place your double down bet.... but place it on top of your original bet.

When the dealer comes around to your hand, they will notice this, and place the bet properly, and yell at you. Feign like you don't know what you are doing and apoligize.

Or the dealer doesn't notice and motions for you to make your play, at which time you can double down again, matching the doubled stack for an effective quadruple down.

Do it more than once or twice and get caught, by the dealer, and at the very least you get thrown out.

Get caught by the eye in the sky, and you are looking at 2 years in the State Pen in Nevada. It is a primitive form of bet capping and strictly illegal.
