Default QQ hand.

Bay 101 $40+10 rebuy tourney

10 handed, blinds 300/600, about 55 players left, bubble at 18.

Relavent stacks: BB (t10k), MP (t20k) table leader, CO/Hero (t18k)

My reads: Nothing on BB as he just was seated at the table two hands ago. MP has occasionally shown down good hands but for the most part has been a LAGgy luckbox who has sucked out on most of his hands, catching 3-outers to knock out other players.

Folded to Mp who limps, folded to Hero in CO (Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]) who raises t2000. (Comments on bet amount?)

Folded to BB who calls, MP limper calls.

Flop: K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (pot:t6300)

BB checks, MP raises all-in, Hero....?

My gut tells me he is pulling a stop and go but he has me covered if I call.

Fold and wait for a better spot.

If MP has a K, you only have two outs to keep you from the exit. Even if MP does not have the goods, BB is still in the hand and could very well be playing for a check raise against the pre flop agressor and the lag.

A Range of hands that the LAG could be making the move with are:

Where you are underdog

A4 diamonds
KQ, KJ, KT
Small set
AK

Where you are favorite:
diamond draw
JJ, TT
A9, A4

Thus, you showed strength preflop so vs. this type of player, he's too excited to get his chips in the middle on that flop so I would have to lay it down and wait for a different opportunity.

Lastly, there is an unknown player behind you and if he calls, you know that you are down to 2 outs.

I think you have to fold here especially w/ BB left to act.

I think a bigger raise PF was in order. I would have raised to T2500-T3000 before the flop to isolate MP player and make it expensive to draw.

I give MP credit for a ratty K.

I give him credit for a ratty King here like KJ.

I went into the tank but eventually laid it down. BB insta folded. After he threw his hand in the muck, MP told me that he had AK. (yeah right ) I said nice bet.
