Card Protectors -- No content
No content, just making conversation.
Just curious, what do people use to let the dealer know their cards are still in play. I use a Sacagawea Dollar coin.

I use a small solid bronze statue of a chinese dragon.
I firmly believe you should use something other than a chip to protect your hand if that chip could be put into play. I have seen players go all-in and have their hands mucked by mistake THREE times, once in a ring game and twice in tournaments. Anything small and heavy with a flat base like a large coin or small statue is ideal, imho. Just make sure your card protector will not cut, scratch, or otherwise mark the cards.

Anything that can reflect like a mirror should not be allowed on the table. Especially sitting next to the dealer.

If you are all in but you use a chip to protect your cards put a finger on them and they will not be snatched away from you.
