I'd bet more on the flop probably. Also I'd probably CR or CF the flop, depending on any reads, my mood, and how the planets are aligned at the given moment.

No way I'm going to CR that flop with AQ OOP.

I figured .75 was the smallest bet that could chase away people who had completely whiffed the flop.

Why? That seems like an easy way to surrender the hand to someone with 8-x or something like that.

I think most hearts call .75 on the flop. Also, its just a [censored] flop for you OOP. You can lead, but if he smooth calls the turn then you're confused again on the river.

I think it really depends on reads, and with no read, I'm fine with playing this hand passively and giving it away.

And you think that betting $.75 isn't surrendering the hand to someone with 8x or something like that? You have 6 outs and only 4 of them are clean. I see little reason to continuation bet on this flop; but if I were to C-bet here, I'd be potting it. Either way, I'm through with the hand unless a non-heart ace or queen hits on the turn.

I like between 1/2 and 2/3 of the pot for my c-bets. Should I be going bigger or just go home?

You think you are going to win this one unimproved against 8x?

You shouldn't be TRYING to beat 8x by betting here.

If someone is playing an 8 preflop they're not just gonna decide to fold on the flop.

Check raising is a disaster. You're putting in the maximum for the minimum fold equity.

Just check fold this flop.
