Yet another digital camera question

Hello,

I am about get married and go on my honeymoon and I want a new digital camera for the trip (Flying to Ottawa, Ontario then taking 12 days to drive to Halifax, through Quebec City)

I am technologically ignorant in regards to cameras. I tried the search function, but came up with nothing.

I want one that is good for outoor and indoor pictures, has a reasonable amount of memory, and all the other functions I can get for about US$250/CAN$350.

Help me.
