Default Zeeeero Motivation for School

Nothing new really, I've never liked school too much, my style is the monstro-procrastination-slash-corner-cutting-supreme approach. It's worked fine so far, and I've always survived my lack of interest and motivation by stringing together a masterful job at the last minute.

But now I'm in my last ever term in college and I am falling apart at the seams. I pull all-nighters 2 or 3 times a week... just to do basic basic assignments. I leave work that others do weeks in advance to 5am the day it's due after not sleeping all night (haha like right now.) If you think my schoolwork is suffering (and you'd be correct), imagine my personal/social life.

Somebody please say something to make me excited about doing my work this last term. I have sooooo much work left (I left all my requirements to the last term of course) and I'll take any insights/motivation I can get my grubby hands on. Your help is always appreciated.

get a good night sleep in as soon as you can

then when you wake up, you allow yourself 15 minutes TOPS for breakfast/shower/whatever you do in the morning, and then start working SOLIDLY

mentally congratulate yourself while you are working solidly instead of thinking how sucky it is

it's a test of will power, but you really need to keep up the solid work all day, i'm sure you are well aware of how 'just a 15 minute break' can turn into 5 hours of procrastinating

and again, give yourself a pat on the back when you do the right thing, you deserve it

oh yeah one more thing, if you have so many things to do you can't keep track of them, list them all on a piece of paper, prioritize them, and get through them one by one, ticking them off, and again giving yourself a pat on the back for each one you do

think of. how much your grades will impact your future. (ie better jobs, an oppurtunity to get into better grad schools, etc etc. the amount of money you're paying to go to schoool...)

You don't have to finish your work and graduate, you just have to learn how to say..
"would you like fries with that?"

In the employment market, the symbols of your knowledge are far more important than the knowledge itself. Word: Stay in school or learn to like menial work. Choose wisely.
