Euchre
Does anybody play Euchre for money? It seems a quaint little game, a nice cultural artefact, but not the sort of activity that is going to fund a worthwhile life.

Re: Euchre..
I am sure you did not mean anything of what you wrote Scalf.
The key to Euchre being correct hand evaluation with just a touch of subtlety in the play. |

Re: Euchre
Ah yes the family game. We play nickle a point, dime a Eucher, and a quarter for a made lone hand. High stakes I know.

Re: Euchre
Used to play a friend HU euchre for 100 bucks a 9 point game...lots of ups and downs - streaky game, so he only owed me 300 before he moved.
Mainly play for beers, though. About the time to play a game is about a beers worth of drinking time, so it works well..hic... |
