You can take comfort in the idea that they run their whole life that way, it just isn't at the tables. They are miserable in the other areas of their life too.

You were probably the first person they felt they had something on in weeks and they can't control themselves.

They are generally petty, pathetic excuses for human beings. They would have been bullies but they lack the courage.
