Default set of kings againat a tag where to slow down?

Villians pretty good. tight preflop but definately able to steal if no one shows any interest. Where do I slow down with this set? I can't give realtime stats I don't use them. I enjoy the game me without them. Obviously Q 10 is a concern on the turn. but, AK, AJ, KJ and a set of Js all play this way too.

I might just call the river. The reason for this is the Q coming is scary for him too. Not that you are terribly likely to have a T given the action, but most players don't hand-read and such, mostly they'll notice that there's 4 to a straight on the board. I'd feel more comfortable raising if we can fold to a 3-bet and well, I can't.

Edited to note my river aggression is somewhat below 2, so I suck.

Would play it exactly the same. Judging by the flop smoothcall and the 3-bet on the river, I guess you ran into a set of aces. Good for him, but you played it perfectly. I also like that you didn't cap on the river. He realizes it's a scare card, but he still 3-bets.

Actually I'm going back and re-reading it, but wouldn't aces 3-bet preflop? So maybe this isn't that clear...

Call the river. There isn't much value in a raise here.

AJ and KJ don't play it that way most of the time. And JJ often won't be there to see the turn.

I'd just call the river, especially if you can't get yourself to fold to a 3bet.

His c/r on the turn smells like AK or AJ to me. I think raising the river may be a bit much, but I don't think it's a huge mistake.
