Default ING increases to 3.4%

i'm disappointed, since emigrant has gone to 4%, i might be looking to switch in the near future :-/ i liked ING too...

Presidential is now at 4.12 APY. You ust have a min of 5k in the account to earn this rate and avoid fees. Balances in excess of 35k earn 2.82 APY.

is that right? why would they lower the rate for high balances? not that it matters for me; my sum of money is less than 5 figures. i'll have to look into presidential. thx for the tip.

hmm.. you were right. that's strange... usually the rates go up as the balance increases.

they lower the rate for your balance in excess of 35k, everything below that gets the higher rate.
