Default Any thoughts on the \'new\' party 15/30?

How has the party 15/30 been affected by the expansion of the 30/60 game? Tougher? Easier? More agro? Less agro? Pretty much the same?

It seems to me a lot of more pots are contested 3-5 handed and there is a lot more limping in the game.

This must be because a lot of the best players have disappeared.

Hmmm, maybe I should move back up. I dropped down around the time that the 30 games increased.

Anyone else notice this difference?

My experience is the exact opposite. Maybe for 1-3 tablers it has become easier, though I don't think it is by much if any at all. But for 4-8 tablers I think it has gotten tougher because there is much less juicy table selection.

I have to agree with GuyOnTilt. Granted, I've only had a couple months experience in the 15 game, but this is what I've seen. Before, I could usually find tables with 2-3 40+ VPIP fish and a couple 30+s. Now, I'm lucky to find a table with one 40+ and one 30+.

Yeah, I'm 35, and I moved up to 30-60. I'll be 36 in November, though. I would venture to guess that most folks my age are playing 30-60, and those in their 40s are, too.

Are you trying to keep the good games a secret

Maybe the games just are easier to me because I have taken to get up early and play at american peak times.

I've found them to be much tougher as well. Kind of a tough spot for me since I don't yet have the roll for 30.
