i have no read here. i have been told that in 10/20, the key is to get to showdown. is my line too weak? if i raise the turn, can i fold to a 3-bet? i'm not sure what to think about this.

not without a read, which is why i think this line is best. a 3bet will mean you're likely beat, but it certainly won't mean you're drawing dead. its not impossible for more aggressive players to 3bet you here with pair + flushdraw, smaller straight, or even 2 big cards with the A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

When you just call the turn, they'll almost always bet into you again on the river no matter what. not to mention, when they bet into you on this turn, your fold equity is practically negligable.

Tough to do, but I think a fold on the river is the right play. I don't know if I could do it w/o a read here.

why fold the river? IMO that K sucks, but i don't think it changes all that much.

I think you were beat on the turn & had the outs to call for a river straight. When you missed I think a fold is the correct play, but w/o a read, I doubt I would fold. I still think it is the correct play because I think you are behind on the turn just about always.
